Universal Language Globally Harmonized System

Universal language Globally Harmonized System adopted internationally and in the near future a regulatory decree mandatory in Costa Rica. Common chemicals are in our daily live and work. However, the use of them carries some risk, so we have the right to know the potential dangers that we would be exposed.
Some of these products may present health hazards such as irritation, sensitization, carcinogenicity and physical hazards such as flammability and corrosion.
The symbols and phrases for communicating chemical hazards have been several here, and preferably applied in different regions of the world, so that unit Nations saw the need to adopt a universal language.

An expert committee of the United Nations Economic and Social Council d (UN SCEGHS create the GLOBALLY HARMONIZED COMMUNICATION AND LABELING SYSTEM OF CHEMICALS (GHS for its acronym in English or SGA in Spanish). The aim of communicating hazards through GHS - GHS is to ensure that businesses, workers and the public receive adequate, practical, reliable, comprehensive and comprehensible information on the hazards of chemicals, in order to take preventive measures and health protection and safety. It is time for companies and their staff responsible for handling hazardous substances, related authorities and emergency response bodies, we train and prepare us for this change.
